At Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS), we believe that building Malaysia’s maritime future goes beyond building ships. It starts with investing in people and creating opportunities for the next generation.

As part of our commitment to nurturing local talent and developing future industry professionals, LUNAS set up a career booth at the Perak Youth Aspirations Convention 2026: Civil Rights, Volunteerism & Career, connecting university students with career opportunities and pathways within the maritime and shipbuilding industry.

The career fair provided students with an opportunity to learn more about LUNAS, explore career prospects and gain a better understanding of the skills and opportunities available within Malaysia’s maritime industry.

Held on 5 September 2026 at UniKL Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET), the convention brought together students, industry players, government agencies and organisations to support youth development and career readiness.
