Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) received an industry visit from the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) on 15 April 2026, involving approximately 90 participants.

The visit aimed to provide exposure and insight into LUNAS, including its organisational background, core expertise, and proven track record in the maritime defence industry, as well as its role in supporting the National Defence Industry Policy (NDIP).

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on LUNAS’s capabilities and contributions in delivering complex naval programmes and strengthening Malaysia’s defence maritime ecosystem.

The engagement also reflects LUNAS’s continued role in supporting national development and nation-building through the advancement of local defence industry capabilities.
