Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) welcomed a delegation from the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) on 13 April 2026 for a visit to observe the progress of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) programme.

The delegation was led by Encik Mohd Zahrain Mohd Nor, Director of the Security and Public Order Division, Ministry of Economy.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain first-hand insight into the current status and ongoing development progress of the LCS programme, including its implementation at the shipyard level and its contribution towards strengthening national defence capabilities.

LUNAS remains committed to driving the continued progress and successful delivery of the LCS programme in support of national defence priorities.
