LUNAS Supports Local Food Entrepreneur With Ministry of Economy's IPR-INSAN Initiative

On 27 November 2024, Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) had the honor of hosting Tuan Shamsul Ridzuan bin Idris, District Officer of Manjung, along with representatives from the Land Registry Office of Manjung and the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) Perak. Their visit marked a milestone as LUNAS became the first location in Manjung District to support the Food Entrepreneur Initiative (INSAN) under the Ministry of Economy’s Inisiatif Pendapatan Rakyat (IPR).
This initiative provides subsidized food vending machines offering ready-to-eat meals, aimed at empowering and supporting the B40 community with sustainable income opportunities.
