LUNAS Joined AMIM Working Trip to China
Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) was honored to join Association Of Marine Industries Of Malaysia (AMIM)’s delegation, invited by ACG Solutions, to Xiamen, China on 19th to 20th June 2024. LUNAS’s CEO, Ir. Azhar Jumaat, and Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Ir. Muhammad Hanif Muhammad, were part of the prestigious Malaysian delegation alongside representatives from prominent marine organizations such as MASA, MOSVA, Perdana Petroleum, Jasa Merin, Orkim, GOF Offshore, SKOM, Tegas Navigation, and Sealink.
On Day 1, the delegation explored MT Power’s impressive facilities in Shishi City. Spanning 5 acres with workshops exceeding 20,000 sqm, MT Power showcased their advanced generator set test equipment capable of handling up to 15,000kw, alongside waterpower dynamometer bench testing machines up to 3,700kw. Day 2 continued with visits to CALB and ABB Xiamen factories, where we explored cutting-edge lithium-ion battery technology at CALB, featuring advancements in energy density and durability. The tour at ABB showcased advanced industrial automation solutions, emphasizing robotics and AI integration in smart manufacturing, highlighting innovations driving transformative changes across global industries.
This experience enriched discussions among industry leaders and deepened our understanding of future technological advancements, reaffirming our commitment to delivering excellence in engineering and environmental responsibility.
