On June 14, 2024, Commander (R) Jal Shazidi Bassari, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS), together with Mr. Rosman Ramli, Head of the Security Unit at LUNAS, paid a courtesy visit to Commander Hassan Helmi Ab Ghani, Assistant Provost Marshal of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) stationed in Lumut, as part of our annual tradition.

The primary aim of the visit was to bolster bilateral security and safety cooperation between LUNAS and the RMN, and to introduce the newly appointed COO of LUNAS. Discussions centered on the exchange of information and sharing insights regarding safety protocols, aiming to elevate safety standards within the RMN base and the LUNAS shipyard.

Looking forward, we are very optimistic that the enduring partnership between LUNAS and the RMN will continue to flourish in the coming years.
