We’re pleased to share that Lumut Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (LUNAS) has achieved a significant milestone in its sustainability journey by joining the Green Electricity Tariff (GET) program under Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). This program allows TNB customers to choose electricity generated from renewable sources, contributing to Malaysia’s renewable energy development and reducing their carbon footprint.

Our subscription to Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) under GET program since February 2023 has enabled us to redeem 1,611.501 MWh of electricity from renewable sources, offsetting approximately 1,221.518 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. Through ongoing efforts, we are committed to further integrating renewable energy sources into our operations to reduce our environmental impact and inspire others in the industry to embrace sustainable practices.
