On-Site Assessment By Malaysia Marine Department At LUNAS
Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) hosted officers from the Malaysia Marine Department on 28 August 2025 for an on-site assessment of the shipyard’s operations. The delegates were given the opportunity to observe and understand LUNAS’s capabilities and processes firsthand, marking an important step in its ongoing validation and recognition process with the relevant authorities.
Hj Azman Ismail, Chief Operation Office Representatives and Encik Muhammad Rahimi Ab Rahman, Head of Yard Services Department from LUNAS welcomed the team and provided key information throughout the visit. The visit further reinforced LUNAS’s commitment to Defining Excellence in naval shipbuilding and operational standards.
