On 11 July 2025, the Information System Department (ISD) of Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) led by Mr. Ahmad Nizam Makhtar; held the Acceptance & Handing Over Ceremony for the IT Security Network Infrastructure Refresh Project with our technology partner, Zetvest Sdn. Bhd. This initiative is part of our digital transformation to strengthen digital readiness across the shipyard through the “WiFi Everywhere” initiative, enhanced cyber threat protection, and a major network speed upgrade from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps. The ceremony also marked the official signing of acceptance documents and the handover of technical drawings, which signifies the successful completion and operational readiness of the project.

This milestone reflects our drive towards Defining Excellence, embracing digitalisation, and delivering greater value across our operations. More than just a technological upgrade, it represents a step towards a bigger purpose in supporting the transformation of LUNAS into a smarter, more connected, and cyber-secure shipyard in line with national defence and maritime priorities.
