Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) held a significant engagement session with Koperasi Veteran TLDM (KOVET) on July 31, 2024 aimed at fostering collaboration and exploring potential avenues for expertise sharing and service provision.

The engagement session brought together key representatives from LUNAS and KOVET, including experienced veterans from the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM). These veterans, who are now part of KOVET, possess a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise that could greatly benefit LUNAS’s operations. The discussions revolved around how KOVET’s members could contribute their skills and services such as consultancy on naval operations and assist in logistics and supply chain management to support LUNAS’s projects, particularly in areas requiring specialized naval knowledge and experience. The exchange of ideas and knowledge between the two parties was not only productive but also opened doors for future collaborations that could enhance both organizations.
