Technology Depository Agency Visit To LUNAS
On July 4, 2024, Lumut Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (LUNAS) hosted the Technology Depository Agency Berhad (TDA), a company established under the Ministry of Finance to oversee technology transfer and industrial collaboration programs, particularly in defense and high-technology procurement. They were represented by CEO Dr. Sharoul Jambari, En. Anuar Mohd Noor (Head of Corporate Service Division), En. Irlan Norris Ishak (Head of Strategic Planning), and En. Saifoel Hafsham Hamzah (Program Director).
The visit aimed to deepen TDA’s understanding of LUNAS’ operations and technological capabilities while exploring potential collaborations to advance technological innovations within the maritime industry. During their tour, the TDA delegation visited our Combat System Centric (CSC) workshop and received briefings on our Shore Integration Facility (SIF) and Digital Electronic Chart Operation Plot (DECOP) for LCS project.
This visit marks the beginning of a promising partnership between TDA and LUNAS, as we look forward to collaborating closely in showcasing our commitment to excellence and to drive technological progress and achieve mutual objectives in advancing Malaysia’s maritime capabilities.
