Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) received a visit from the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) on 26 August 2025.

The delegation, led by Puan Yuslinawati Mohd Yusof, Director of the Transport & Logistic Section, was welcomed by LCS Programme Director Capt (R) Rosnizam Che Puteh alongside several heads of department.

The engagement not only deepened MATRADE’s understanding of LUNAS’s role in shipbuilding but also sparked meaningful discussions on export strategies and international growth, aligning with LUNAS’s plans to expand its global footprint. The visit concluded with a comprehensive tour of the Shipyard, where the delegation received in-depth briefings and had a first-hand look at LCS 1.
