GLC of the Year for Community & Youth Empowerment is a prestigious honour proudly bagged by Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025!

We’re proud to be recognised for our unwavering commitment to empowering communities and youth through meaningful and impactful initiatives.

The award was presented by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, on 17 July 2025, during the ceremony held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Accepting the award on behalf of LUNAS were our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ir. Azhar Jumaat and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO), Puti Mazura Mashudi.

This marks the second consecutive year LUNAS has been recognised by CSR Malaysia, after winning the Company of the Year in Shipbuilding & Ship Repair category in 2024. Being acknowledged across different categories in back-to-back years is a testament to our consistent dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility and our role in nation building.

Throughout 2024, LUNAS contributed meaningfully to community development and youth empowerment through financial support and volunteer programmes.
