LUNAS Pays Official Visit to Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak dan Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan
As part of the lead up to the Naming and Launching Ceremony of Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) 3, Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) made an official visit to Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar and Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi.
The visit was held to formally extend the official invitation to TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak to grace the ceremony as Guest of Honour and to Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan to take on the honour of Lady Sponsor of LCS 3.
The appointment of a Lady Sponsor is a distinguished maritime tradition, symbolising honour, goodwill and blessings for the vessel and her future crew.
