We did it! Huge shoutout to Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) for taking home the CSR & Sustainability Excellence Award – Company of the Year in the Shipbuilding and Ship Repair category!  This prestigious award, presented on July 18th, 2024, recognizes our dedication to CSR.

A big thank you to CSR Malaysia for organizing this important event, held at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.  It’s truly inspiring to see so many companies committed to making a positive impact.

We are incredibly proud of our team’s efforts. In 2023 alone, LUNAS contributed a remarkable RM179,140.42 to the community, both through financial support and volunteer initiatives.  This award, presented by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Binti Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, is a testament to that dedication.

Head of Corporate Communication, Suhana Albakri Abu Bakar, and Assistant Manager Rizal Bin Zubair proudly accepted the award on behalf of the entire LUNAS team. This award is a significant milestone for us, but it is just the beginning! We remain committed to delivering excellence in everything we do, while continuing to give back to the communities we serve.
