In its continuous effort to uphold operational excellence and safeguard national assets, Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) recently hosted a two-day Incident Management Awareness Training on 22 and 23 October 2025. The training, facilitated by Acacia Consulting Sdn Bhd, was organised by the Risk Management Department in collaboration with the Human Capital Management and Administration (HCMA) Department and the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department.
The session focused on crisis management during major events, equipping participants with practical knowledge and tools to enhance organisational resilience. Through scenario-based exercises and interactive discussions, LUNAS personnel gained hands-on experience in handling real-world incidents.
The training was led by Mr. Mohamad Fa’eek Ahmad, an experienced professional with extensive management expertise, multiple ISO certifications and a proven track record in risk and crisis management. His guidance helped participants apply theory into practical strategies within the shipyard’s operations.
