On 7th January 2025, Commander Western Fleet, Laksamana Madya Haji Mohamad Azuwan Harun, visited Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS). He was warmly welcomed by LUNAS Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ir. Azhar Jumaat, and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Cdr (R) Jal Shazidi Bassari. The visit commenced with a comprehensive briefing by CEO Ir. Azhar Jumaat, who provided an in-depth overview of LUNAS, the current status of MRO projects, and the progress of the LCS project.

Following the briefing, the visit continued with a detailed yard tour of the refit vessels and the LCS project compound, allowing the Commander to observe firsthand the progress being made on these critical projects.

The visit underscored LUNAS’s unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of its operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
